What's my character's status? Do I, like, have to buy it?
If your character is new to L.A., your Status is 1 (New Arrival). If your character has been in the city for a while (either you're a returning character or your backstory has you living in L.A.), your Status is 2 (Known). If you have a title in the court, like Primogen or Scourge, your Status is 3 (YOUR TITLE HERE). Seneschal Chambers is Status 4; Prince Carmichael is Status 5. If you're still unsure of where you fit in, ask the Storyteller, who will both answer your question and question your intelligence.

So, what happened with Gehenna and all that?
In the standard World of Darkness timeline in 2008 the game is over. This will not do. This version of the World of Darkness includes the events that led up to Gehenna in the standard WoD, the Ravnos/Cathayan war, Ravnos's awakening, The Sixth Maelstrom, and the Destruction of Enoch all happen. But it ends there. This means the Ravnos are toast, as are the Tal'mahe'Ra. Bangladesh and some of the surrounding area is patrolled by psychotically paranoid Technocrats. But the vast majority of vampire society is relatively intact. The Gangrel did not leave the Camarilla, and the Assamites did not join en masse, although the curse has been broken. The reduction of the Ravnos to a bloodline will have negligible effect on how we game.

Ghosts are kinda fucked up, seeing as how the maelstrom ripped apart the boundaries between purgatory and the hells, but that shouldn't be of any concern to anyone...

What format can I send you stories in?
Short character profiles will be fine in e-mail, but stories must be submitted in Word format. I will also accept a Google Map of the character's journey as a supplement to the story.

What do you mean a Google Map?

I still don't get it.
Look, click the "view larger" link on the map on the front page. Add that custom map to your maps on your google account. Then click the above link. Add that one too. If there are more posted on the stories page, add those as well. Now you have a background map of vampire activity, plus a bunch of individual journeys. Pretty neat, eh? Also, if you really want to be cool, you can view them in Google Earth.
